 Jackson Purchase Transit Authority provides equal access to transportation for everyone. Our Title VI Public Notice ensures that, under the Civil Rights Act of 1964, we never exclude, discriminate against, or deny service to anyone based on race, color, or national origin. We are committed to maintaining a fair, professional, and nondiscriminatory environment.
Policy Scope
Fulton County Transit Authority is committed to ensuring that no person is excluded from participation in, or denied the benefits of its transit services on the basis of race, color, or national origin, as protected by Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
Submit a Complaint
If you believe you have experienced discrimination based on race, color, or national origin while using Jackson Purchase Transit services, you may file a Title VI complaint within 180 days of the alleged incident.

To file a discrimination complaint, the written complaint must be filed to the address above within 180 days of the alleged discrimination. To accommodate limited English proficient individuals, oral complaints to be documented and/or translated may also be given at the above address.
Written complaints may also be filed with the U. S. Department of Transportation/Federal Transit Administration (FTA) no later than 180 days after the date of the alleged discrimination, unless the time for filing is extended by FTA.
