FCTA no show policy

No-Show Policy

Helping us keep our transit reliable for everyone.

Scheduling a ride reserves a vehicle and driver just for you. When trips are missed or cancelled late, it prevents other riders from getting where they need to go and makes our service less efficient for the community.

What Is a No-Show?

✕

Missing Pick-up

Not being at the scheduled location when the driver arrives for your ride.

🕒

Late Cancellation

Canceling too close to your ride time, which prevents us from helping another rider.

âš

Unsafe Boarding

When a trip cannot safely begin because of health or safety concerns at the pick-up point.

How to Avoid a No-Show

Be Early

Ready a few minutes before your scheduled pickup time.

Stay Contactable

Keep your phone nearby so Dispatch can reach you if needed.

Notify Early

Call (270) 472-0662 as soon as possible if your plans change.

Verify Details

Double-check your pickup time and location details.

Cancellation Rules

  • Please give us at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel your ride.
  • Late notice makes it harder to serve other riders who need transport.
  • Call Dispatch to update or cancel any scheduled trip.
Frequent No-Shows & Late Cancellations

If rides are missed or canceled late too often, we may need to:

  • Review your scheduling privileges
  • Pause your service temporarily
  • Require extra confirmation for future trips

Our goal is to keep transit fair and available for all riders.
