Medical Escorts: One escort may ride free when accompanying a passenger to a medical appointment.

Ride-Along Fare: A passenger may ride an existing route for $15, even when they are not traveling with or assisting another rider. Ride-along trips may take longer because the vehicle follows its already scheduled route.
Veterans Care

Veterans pay $0.41 per mile for medical trips outside Region 1.

One escort may ride free when accompanying a veteran to a medical appointment.

Charter trips: $75 per hour with a two-hour minimum, plus fueling fees.

Ride to Work Passes
Reliable transportation for employees traveling to work throughout Western Kentucky. Monthly Work Pass payments are due and renewed on the 10th of each month. This pass provides transportation to work and a return ride home after the employee’s shift is completed.

Jackson Purchase Transit provides non-emergency transportation to doctor’s appointments, hospitals, therapy, and other approved medical services.

Medicaid members without transportation may qualify for free rides through GRITS.

Medicaid reservations require at least 72 hours’ notice.

This service is for scheduled, non-emergency transportation and does not replace an ambulance or emergency medical service.

Amtrak Connections
Amtrak Transportation Available
Connections must be scheduled in advance with dispatch. Amtrak station prices cover FCTA transportation only.
Amtrak Transportation Rates
- $12 per person, per trip: Transportation for Fulton County residents to or from the Amtrak station.
- $20 per person, per trip: Transportation for residents of Hickman, Graves, and Carlisle counties to or from the Amtrak station.
- $35 per person, per trip: Pickup or drop-off in Ballard, Calloway, Marshall, or McCracken counties.
- $45 per person: Any pickup at the Amtrak Station to Tennessee
- Transportation from the Amtrak station to Tennessee: $1.45 per mile.
